1 Year!

We did it! We all survived the first year of kid #1. Lizah has brought more joy to our lives in this first year than I could have imagined.

At this stage she is developing skills that will last a lifetime. Learning to sit up and crawl were great milestones but now that she is walking around she seems so grown up and much more content. Communication is rough at times but she can shake her head no or sign for more. There are phrases she seems to understand like "go for a walk" or "go bye-bye" or "read a book" and she definitely responds to "boogie-woogie" by doing just that. Also, she has begun to "tickie-tickie" everything from Dad and Mom to the food on her tray or her dolls or even thin air.

On her actual birthday we went to Princeville and spent the day with Herrmanns then had G&G Waibel over for supper and cake. The big family parties happened later in the month and will be posted with her 1 year pics!
